A LETTER FROM THE EDITOR
Hello, readers, and thanks for checking out Postman Press. I’m Brandon Postman, the sole editor and publisher on staff.
In light of the COVID-19 lockdown, I’ve been forced to reimagine my newsletter for the web, rather than print. Below, you’ll find a table of contents with links that lead to each of this month’s special features.
I publish Postman Press each month to promote my favorite local musicians and artists. You can join the email list by filling out the sign-up form at the bottom of the page.
Postman Press is an independent publication; to help me continue bringing you the best information about Cleveland’s local scene, please support me by donating to my Venmo or Paypal.

NEW POSTMAN SINGLE!
“Submission Street” (Single Version)
By Brandon Postman + The Lab Techs
ft. Lex Moda (Cellophane Jane) & Rex Larkman (Tropidelic)
“Submission Street” was Recorded, Engineered, Produced, and Mixed by
Austin McMaken
Engineer/Producer
Recording, Editing, Mixing, Consulting
Postman says: “I’ve worked with Austin a number of times now. He’s been intelligent, had great production ideas, and actually cared about my music. Afterward, he’s come to my shows, recommended me music I’ve grown to love, and been really cool. He’s a colleague, and a friend. It was also his stroke of genius to bring Rex on to play drums. I would recommend anyone in the local scene to work with him.”

“Submission Street” was Mastered by
Jake Pastor

Postman Says: “Austin suggested we get Jake to master the track, and it was a great idea. I told him I wanted it done lickity split, and he delivered in time to include the single in the Postman Press. Jake also books at Stella’s, and I love that place! I’m gonna buy his beverage next time I see him there.”

FLIPCOIN’S GO TO SPACE: MY FAVORITE LOCAL ALBUM OF 2020 (SO FAR)
Go To Space is a blast. I keep listening to it over and over, having a bunch of fun. It refuses to stick to one genre or style. That’s just fine; they pull off just about everything they attempt, and most people will probably find at least one song they can get down to.

C-LEVEL’S BURN YOUR OWN GASOLINE:
SCORCHING SKANKY BLUES
Dave “Ziggy” Deitke has proven over and over again that he’s one of the best guitarists in town. On Burn Your Own Gasoline, he does so in the highest quality yet, and with the best ear for composition.
